Deadline to request a house blessing is Wednesday, January 15.
Due to the growth of the parish, Glory to God, this year House Blessings will take place on Saturday’s and Sunday’s based on your geographic location. This is common in thriving parishes.
• To schedule your house blessing, please use the Google Form below, so Brie can add you to the list and will contact you with the day and an approximate time that Fr. Paul will be in your area. Please fill out the form as soon as possible!
• House Blessings will be quite “short and sweet” this year, so if you would like to host Fr. Paul for a meal after House Blessings are completed, please contact Brie and she can get that scheduled for you.
Thank you for your understanding, as our priest is only one man.
“… keep safe from harm all those who dwell herein. Vouchsafe them sanctification, purification and health of body, and grant their petitions which are unto salvation and life everlasting…”
Blessing your home/business invites the Lord to fill your life with His mercy and blessing, while eliminating every filth and evil:
Blessing homes of Orthodox Christians is done each year on or after the feast of Theophany. This act is the central sign of God’s sanctification of all things through Christ’s baptism in the river Jordan and His epiphany to the world… The sanctification of the home takes place with prayer and the sprinkling of holy water. The priest, at this annual visit, asks God to have mercy on the house, to rid it of every evil and to fill it with every blessing. Everyone of the house prays together for the living and the dead of the family… and process from room to room while the priest blesses the house. source: orthodoxwiki.org
Fr. Paul will come with the angels, with the water of the Jordan and the blessing of Christ, to distribute holiness, encouragement, strength, joy, and grace, for the peace and purification of your life.
Every Orthodox Christian should bless their home & business – every single year.
